Come What May
You know what a person's worst enemy is? Uncertainty. Self doubt is the one thing that stands between us and doing what we need to do to get what we want. Take a look at a person who is living the way that they actually want to live. They are sure of themselves. They don't spend hours singing in the car and day dreaming. And they can definitely get up enough nerve to go to a few stores on the Sponge Docks and see if anyone is interested in selling their claywork. All this talent and no where to go.
Some days I am just completely disgusted with myself.

work, work, work
I am working on some plaques to sell at the craft show this year. I have found a mess of different phrases, quotes, whatever and I am not going to make plaques for all of them so I wanted to see what you guys were partial to just so I can get it narrowed down. "Free" time
I went to Renn Fest today. Much, uh fun, was had. I actually spent most of the time wondering around running into people that I knew. I think I may have broken our record from last time because I actually ran into Fish (who wasn't supposed to be in the states so I get bonus points for that one) I did not, however, run into any psycho ex-boyfriends this time. So I lost points on that one. Oh, well. not again!
well, i have done it. i busted out the christmas decorations today. the tree is, for the most part, up. naked, but up. i am having a slight issue with one of the light strings on the middle section (it is a 6ft tree). the issue being: it won't light. so that is why it is mostly up instead of completely up. i kinda wonder why the fuck i am doing this since we are going to michigan, land of in-laws and cold fucking temperatures. but we are going to be home for the actual christmas day, not to mention the days before and after michigan, so i figured i may as well. seeing how the last time i actually tried to get through christmas without even putting up a tree, we ended up making a late night trip to walgreens two days before chrismas to get the only freaking tree they had because we had to at least have a tree. (my doing) it was kinda sad-looking. it only had ornaments on it that we had been given that year. i think my grandparent's gave us a "parent's to be" ornament and an "our first christmas" ornament. there may have been a couple more. i think i was six months pregnant then, give or take. i just wasn't messing with the giganto-tree if i couldn't even get off the couch most days.
oh, god. rupaul sings christmas music. someone call the authorities.
and on that note, i will leave you to mess with my lights once more. merry christmaunikkwanzaaa!
